Last month I made a very special trip to Tennessee for our family reunion. My brother, Jasper, his wife, Kaye, my wife, the Rev. Joanna and I made the trip, and it was a joy to be in such good company. Being together so close for a long trip was all we all needed to bond closer and enjoy one another.
The family reunion was an experience none of us will forget. Some of the children and great-grandchildren of the relatives were people we had never met before.
There were some first cousins who were unable to be there; still the turnout was between 40 and 50 for the three days of the reunion. The names of those missing were mentioned and all us were informed of the whereabouts of them and their families...
