Our God rains in the valley

I got up the other day prepared to water the lawn, but it was raining. Consequently, I changed my mind. I decided I didn’t need to water the lawn, for God was doing it for me. And people wonder why I love God!

Nothing ever stays the same, and so I have learned to adjust my sights based upon what is happening around me. I am reminded of a great flood, and as a rescue boat passed through the town looking for folks to rescue, there was a baseball cap atop the water moving back and forth in 40 foot swaths. It turns out it was Uncle Charlie mowing his lawn, for he swore he would do it come perdition or high water!

The world turns; why would we not want to move with it? Is change really that terrible or fearsome? ...
