This may sound like a Red Line item, but at least you know who it is from and not someone anonymous. It’s a tragedy what happened at the Yosemite and P Street intersection Saturday with the young motorcyclist.

My gal and I drove past the fallen bike early that morning while heading out for a country drive. Cruising through all the lights on Yosemite, we noticed every one of them has a left turn (only) green arrow except the traffic light at the aforementioned corner where the accident occurred. Why is that?

Okay, to sound more like the Community Calendar let’s get “Back to the Future.” Saturday, April 5, in support of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of Central California, those wonderful folks at Cedar Creek Senior Living are hosting a 1.7-mile walk with T-shirt and free refreshments provided.

Many of us have a loved one that has been touched by that dreadful illness so this is your chance to give a little back in the fight for a cure. Check-in is at 8 a.m. at “the Creek.” And this is no joke, and I don’t know about you, but this scribe can never remember how to spell Alzheimer...
