It appears that Saints’ head coach Sean Payton is not pleased with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell’s decision to suspend him for a full season in light of the Bountygate scandal.

Yet that’s all he has said about it. He is not okay with the decision.

No apology. No statement saying he was wrong. No act of contrition.

While I have to agree with those who feel that the suspension is a bit too severe given the fact that no NFL coach has ever been suspended for even a single game, Goodell dug in his heels and sent what he felt was a clear message...
