I like to think of myself as a fairly easy-going fellow, but there are two kinds of people that really irritate me: those who go too fast and those who go too slow.

I seldom have to worry about those who go too fast, of course; they will eventually find their way around and past the world’s slowpokes. Speaking of which — have you ever found yourself behind someone just “poking” along?

Not long ago, one of our Montana locals was found driving on one of the freeways in and around Los Angeles. She was just poking along, causing all sorts of grief amongst her roadway companions. She was pulled over by a highway patrolman who, noticing her vehicle plates, explained to her, “This isn’t Montana; you aren’t allowed to impede the flow of traffic by going too slow.” ...
