A breezy, funny peek into the mind of one of America’s foremost playwrights, “Time Flies with David Ives” showcases the wit and whimsy of master wordsmith David Ives by featuring nine of his most side-splitting shorts about time.
Among them: mayflies on a date realize they have only 24 hours to live; a washing- machine repairman falls in love with a perfect washing machine (should he tell his girlfriend?); construction workers remember past lives; an out-of-work schmo decides to spend his day being painter Edgar Degas; how did Trotsky really die?
Madera South Theatre Company presents “Time Flies with David Ives” for this year’s fall show. Opening night will be tonight! Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.
The show will take place starting Nov. 8 and continue on the 9th, 10th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th, and its last night on the 17th. The show will only take place on the days presented and not the 12th and 13th...
