It was bound to happen.

Players are bailing out of the Penn State football program like a batter crowding the plate when Steven Strasburg is tossing chin music.

Not wanting to have their careers hampered by the severe sanctions handed down by the NCAA in response to the Jerry Sandusky child sexabuse scandal, these players were put in a bad situation and had no choice.

Because of the nature of the scandal and the punishment meted out, the NCAA allowed players to transfer to another college without having to sit out a year...
