This week is our annual Give Thanks Week. Leadership students will deliver gifts to all staff members and grams for the teachers. All students were able to fill out as many grams as they like for a teacher to be delivered with a candy as well as vote for this year’s teacher award.

The teacher luncheon is today during lunch in portable 2. Teachers received an invitation for the luncheon and this year’s theme is the year of the snake, Chinese style. Leadership kids will dress up, decorate and perform skits.

We will also be awarding six different teachers with trophies. The Bouncer Award, for example, is for a teacher that is tough and sometimes intimidating, the Bull Rider is for the one who won’t give up and encourages students along the way, and the Paper Cut Award is for the educator who gives the most homework.

The winners are Richard Petzinger (Best New Teacher Award), Carol Ahrabian (the Bouncer Award), Ginger Latimer (the Bull Rider Award), Rebecca Ibrahim (Most Craziest Award), Ginny Sandhu (Most Off Topic Award), and Noemi Lepe-Vera (Paper Cut Award)...
