Tomorrow, during 4th period, there will be a Veterans Day assembly in the Joe Flores Gym to highlight veterans as well as educate students on the importance of Veterans Day. The assembly will be kicked off with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) hosting the 21-gun salute and a special performance of the national anthem.

Bill Jones, a Vietnam veteran who endured hundreds of Vietnam War missions during his enrollment, will be speaking about his past experiences and his life after the war. Following him, Frank Alono, who assisted in transporting troops to the D-day mission, will be sharing his stories regarding his World War II missions. Frank recently attended the WWII memorial in Washington that was held in honor of all fallen veterans.

All 4th period history classes will be attending this assembly. See Mr. Hinton in room 76 for information.
