Spring is the time of year when we are kept wondering from one day to the next if the weather will be cold or warm. That makes it a bit tricky to plan meals.
Some of us are anxious to start eating spring salads and other light or cool foods, or perhaps even to plan a backyard barbecue. You certainly can do that, as there have been some on-and-off sunny days, but chances are just as good that you’ll be bundling up your overcoats and thinking of hearty, hot soups or stews.
