Lemons and limes are very versatile citrus fruits, and they seem to show up everywhere. They can be garnishes (or juice) in food and beverages, ingredients in sauces and dips or made into many tasty desserts and breads. Even the peels are used in many ways.
As a kid, I used to eat lemons just plain. (Maybe that sounds a bit odd, but stop to think that I also used to sneak spoonfuls of cod liver oil out of the refrigerator!)
