LeBron James has finally earned my respect. Not that he needs it, mind you.
While I have bashed him in the past, mostly for his arrogance and inability to finish critical games, I am now waving the white flag.
I surrender. And LeBron will get no more heat from me.
While I still think he made a mockery of the game, embarrassed himself and set himself up to be ridiculed two years ago with his “Decision,” and then anointing the Three Kings — himself, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh — as the greatest combination of players in the history of the NBA and promising to bring Miami at least seven championships, I am now letting that go...
