These days, it has become necessary for children to avoid homemade treats while out trick-or-treating, at least from strangers. But if you have little ones of your own, they will appreciate a few bites of something to eat at home before they go to their parties, school carnivals or trick-or-treating rounds.

Here are a few recipes that can be prepared quickly with little or no fuss.

I hope you have a fun and spooky Halloween (if you celebrate that holiday, that is), and most of all, may it be safe for everyone.
