Howard 4-H Club met Monday, Sept. 10, at the Howard Elementary School Cafeteria.
The 2012-13 club officers were introduced by Joanne Ylarregui and Pauline Galleano. New and returning members and leaders were welcomed. After a brief business meeting all of the project leaders introduced themselves and gave a brief description of the project they would be leading. Members were given the opportunity to sign up for each project they would be taking.
The projects offered to Howard 4-H members are: Arts and crafts, rocketry, photography, community pride, shooting sports, public speaking, leadership, sewing, foodsnutrition, mini-gardens, beef cattle, dairy cattle, horse, meat goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep and swine.
The Howard 4-H Club meets the first Monday of each month at the Howard School Cafeteria. Enrollment closes Sept. 30.
