Man up. That’s what Charles Barkley had to say about Dwight Howard and his recent trade request. Sir Charles, like the rest of us, is tired of Howard whining at the end of every season that he wants to play somewhere else.

And now with the Orlando Magic receiving interest from several teams for the discontented All-Star center, Howard made the possibility of that happening very slim.

Howard has declared that he has a short list of teams he would play for. The Brooklyn Nets. That’s it. That’s the shortest a list can get when I do the math.

If he gets traded to any other team than the Nets, Howard stated he would not sign an extension. This means that a team like the Lakers would have to dismantle the team to get a player that they are only renting for a season...
