Last Friday, students and staff wore white as a symbol of peace and released white balloons with messages of hope on stage in honor of the students that have passed away. Our principal, Mr. Lile, gave a heartfelt speech that will keep us united and reminded us that together we can gain strength.

Our annual blood drive was this Wednesday in our cafeteria. More than 250 students signed up to donate their blood with hope that they will save someone’s life. This is a great opportunity for students to become a first-time blood donor and learn the benefits of giving. It is great to see students walk around with the first-time donor sticker and for other students to see if they are feeling okay.

Friday is a big day for seniors and late tonight, many seniors will be scrambling and organizing all of their forms in a frantic.

Seniors, Friday is the last day to send in your scholarship applications. Apply to as many as you can. This will increase your chances of getting more money. Even a little helps. The deadline is 3:45 p.m. Take all forms to the career center.
