The clowns in Washington D.C. are at it again. The Republicans are beating their heads against the wall trying to defund Obamacare. This is the 42nd time they have tried this. What a waste of time from a group who is paid very well to work what amounts to a part-time job.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) will help provide universal healthcare for all Americans. Sure, it will cost a boatload of money but it is still a good idea.

President Bill Clinton tried to come up with a plan and assigned First Lady Hillary Clinton to a task-force more than 20 years ago. The 1993 Health Security Act faced the same opposition as Obamacare, according to Wikipedia.

My entire adult life has involved health insurance and making sure we had it. Even a minor illness requiring hospitalization can devastate ones’ finances. Paying someone every month for insurance is a hedge against future sickness. It wasn’t until it became a law that everyone bought car insurance. Companies compete for business with entry-level car insurance advertised online for as little as $19 a month. Health insurance coverage is exactly the same...
