Hawks fare well during Homecoming week

Libery High School's Homecoming week had a great turnout. It started with students participating in spirit days throughout the week, which included pajama day, Scrabble day, decade day, and nerd day. The week's end was topped off with extreme school spirit day.

Along with the spirit days, the king and queen candidates participated in lunchtime activities. The Homecoming court girl nominees were: Beatrice Wons, Hanna Shevenell, Kindle Cowger, Morgann Canizales, and Shelby Johnson. The nominated boys were: Clay Cullins, Martin Escarcega, Logan Doss, and Paul Vandergriff.

The Homecoming game turned out to be amazing.

The Homecoming parade had incredibly creative floats. The winning club float belonged to Key Club, with the design of the board game Monopoly, and the winning class float belonged to the class of 2013 with the theme of the board game Candy Land...
