Hawks announce king, queen candidates

Liberty High School’s homecoming will come to an end today with the football game against Sierra along with the announcement of the homecoming king and queen during half time.

The candidates were announced Tuesday during the night rally along with the winners of the underclassmen court. Named as the Junior Prince and Princess were Andy Addington and Shayne Hartley. Nick Rousey and Taylor Gorman were named the sophomore Duke and Duchess, and Cori Balcom and Jacob Brauer the freshmen Sweethearts.

King and Queen candidates have been competing in lunchtime activities all week and the entire student body will vote today. The king candidates are Lance Donovan, Tony Hall, Kenny Holland, Curtis Monk and Deandre Smith. The queen candidates are Kaylani Amos, Andrea Hammond, Morgan Lusk, Jessica Ortiz, and Lilly Hermosilla.

Disney Day

Thursday was Disney Day, which tied in perfectly with the homecoming theme, “The Happiest Homecoming on Earth.” Today, Hawks will show off their school pride with Extreme School Spirit Day...
