Fun while fighting. And that is exactly what Maderans from the north, south, east and west of our city will be doing starting tomorrow at Lions Town and Country Park.
The annual Relay For Life will begin at 9 a.m. and initiate another 24-hour event that not only raises cancer awareness, but also honors the victims, survivors and (this year) caregivers. A record number of teams have registered, but even if you are not on a team, come out for a good time, meet new friends and join in the community spirit and fun.

Either way, it was a pleasant surprise.
