“Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
— Matthew 17:20
I realize there are those who have to witness with their own eyes before they believe something can happen by the trust and faith one puts in the Creative Force of the Universe that I refer to as God. We have heard stories and have seen on television some of the sports figures who point to the sky, or kneel on one knee and give thanks for what has happened for them in a game of competition.
There is one in particular I am referring to and that is Tim Tebow. I followed this young man when he was quarterback with the Florida Gators and have continued to enjoy his ability to not be embarrassed by demonstrating his faith while with the Denver Broncos.
There are the talking heads in the sports announcing arena and some in the community who make comments about his action in giving thanks for a completed pass or winning a game. The comments, most of the time, degrade his action and make fun of his faith and belief for giving thanks by dropping to one knee with a small prayer...
