Fairs and rally excite students

The last two weeks Madera South High School has held numerous activities. Our Science Club hosted a health fair and a science fair with local businesses and student clubs. The fairs reminded us to be healthy and take care of ourselves both mentally and physically.

On Thursday, we had more than 800 current eighth-graders attend our “On your mark, get set and succeed” welcome rally. This hour-long pep rally featured various information as well as skits and fun games for them to get excited to be a Stallion.

Friday marked our annual Spring Fling carnival, which was a bit different this year. We enjoyed yummy food, B95 radio station and an array of carnival games for students to win prizes.

Kindness and Powder Puff

This week leadership is organizing Kindness Week to spread the love and care for all. Students have been able to write messages on hearts, and pass out “pay it forward” cards and lots of free Hershey’s chocolate Kisses and Hugs...
