As I was announcing the baseball playoff game between the Madera Coyotes and Tulare Western Mustangs on Thursday, I happened to take a glance at the stands.
I had to do a double-take. Because what I saw was embarrassing, both for our athletes and the community. While the Tulare Western fans had more than an hour of travel time, they packed the stands. Why can’t we do the same for ours?
