Coyote dodgeball team to battle Madera South

After two weeks of intense dodgeball games between 20 teams, the victorious Madera High student team “Faded Glory” will take on Madera South’s student team in the Flores Gym at 7 p.m. Friday.

In addition to the student game, MHS’ teacher team “The Disciplinarians” will battle it out against MSHS’s teacher team “Purple Reign.” Tickets are only $2 at the door, so be sure to go out and support “Faded Glory!”

Blood drive

Madera High will host a blood drive Friday for the Central California Blood Center. To donate blood, one must be in good health, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with permission from his or her parent/guardian.

The blood drive will take place in the Olive Street Gym from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Donors MUST bring their photo ID and signed parent consent form regardless of their age. It is recommended that donors eat a well balanced meal and drink plenty of water prior to donating blood...
