Compassion for world peace is the answer

I enjoy the world news with Diane Sawyer because it keeps me aware of what is happening throughout the world as well as here in our country. Diane’s report of the news does not get into the doom and gloom the media wants to brainwash the people of this country with.

A few days ago one of her reporters was covering the lives of children in one of the war torn countries. Most of the children were separated from their families and living in small groups in tents without heat or a place to sleep. They were doing the best they could with what they had.

They worked together to gather what they could find to make fires to keep warm and the adults would use the fires to heat up what little food they had. When the camera was pointed toward a 6-year-old girl, she began to beg and cry because she thought it was a gun. No child should ever have to experience that kind of fear regardless of what country he or she lives in...
