Grab your baby by the hand and dance on out to the Wine and Chocolate Weekend hosted by the Madera Vintners Association. Ten local wineries are having parties showcasing the wine made right in our backyard. Tickets are $30 at the door and one ticket is good at all 10 wineries. Designated drivers admitted free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.

Participating MVA members are Birdstone Winery, Chateau Lasgoity, Fasi Estate Winery, Ficklin Vineyards, Idle Hour Winery, Papagni Wines, Quady Winery, San Joaquin Wine Company, Sumner Peck Ranch Winery and Westbrook Wine Farm by appointment only.

The winemakers are serving food and pairing wine with chocolate at this pre-Valentine’s Day event. Live music, artists and other treats will be featured. For information, visit the event page at
