Madera High School Homecoming Week is fast approaching. The staff and students are working hard to make this year’s homecoming the best yet! We invite all of our alumni back to watch the annual parade next Thursday, Oct. 17, and come support our Coyote football team take on the Sanger Apaches the next day, Oct. 18.

King and queen voting

Madera High’s classes and clubs nominated their court representatives during their club meeting last week. During lunch Friday, students will have the opportunity to vote for the top four homecoming candidates, who will be featured in the rally, lunch activities on Wednesday, parade on Thursday, The Madera Tribune, and the halftime ceremony at the football game next Friday.

All Homecoming voting will be done electronically to make the voting process more efficient. Laptops will be available AT LUNCH for students to cast their vote. Students can access the voting for schools website ( using the laptops that will be provided tomorrow or any personal computer.

Also, students can download the Vote 4 Schools application on their smartphone to vote! Your student ID number and date of birth are the only requirements to vote. Be sure to cast your vote for the top four candidates for this year’s Homecoming court...
