I don’t say this often, but I think Fresno State Athletic Director Thomas Boeh made a good decision. Now if he could just do it more often.
But even I have to admit that Boeh hit it out of the park with his hire of Stanford associate head coach Trisha Ford to take over the Bulldogs softball program.
And even more surprising is that he didn’t try to give her a low-ball offer like he did when interviewing Jim McElwain for the head football coach position.
Ford was given a 5-year, $110,000 contract which instantly makes her the highest paid softball coach in the Mountain West Conference...
