Breakfast, other winter events planned

Howard 4-H members are jumping into a new year with numerous events and activities. Winter plans abounded at the monthly business meeting a week ago at the Howard School cafeteria.

Chairmen Luke Tolmachoff and Katelyn Galleano reported on the Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast. This huge event is the only fundraiser for the club. It will be 8 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 3 at Hatfield Hall on the Madera District Fairgrounds, 1850 West Cleveland Ave.

Breakfast tickets are $6 for an adult and $4 for those 12 and under. They can be purchased from any Howard 4-H member or by calling Marilyn Tolmachoff at 673-4551.

The club’s casino night was discussed and multiple chairmen volunteered to help organize this fun event. The entry fee to this game night is linked to a community service project for the Ronald McDonald House...
