Last year, I actually was a part of writing for The Madera Tribune alongside this year’s ASB President, Summayyah Din, and this year I will be the one informing the community of Madera South High School’s most recent and fantastic activities.

I am currently a senior at Madera South High School who loves being involved! Not only am I in the top of my class academically, but I am in two of the most successful athletic programs — cross country and track and field — and am the ladies captain who seeks to lead them to success.

Besides academics and athletics, I am also in other clubs and organizations in and out of school including Block S, Leadership and Madera Leo Club, and I’m the historian of the California Scholarship Federation and the Associated Student Body’s commissioner of public relations.

I am driven, motivated, dedicated, and I simply don’t give up in what I set my heart and mind to. I can be dorky, silly and very jumpy when I get a hold of chocolate! I have many goals for my last year of high school, a few of which are leading my girls team to championships, giving back to my school and community, staying in the top 10 of my class and going to college to run as well to one day earn an MBA...
