"Danger, danger, Will Robinson.” Not even sure Robby, the Robot of movie and television could compete with the metal muscle shown at Madera South, March 1-3 during the robotics competition. What a boon to Madera.
Many service clubs and businesses supported the event with hundreds of man-hours and thousands in monetary contributions. In return, the families of competitors filled our hotels and restaurants for the three-day event. A feather in Madera’s cap, robotics competition is an international project supported by NASA, JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratories) and others in the scientific community. Speaking of communities:WAY TO GO MADERA! And thanks to all who helped.

With 80-degree temps, the grass turning green, and the sound of bat against ball, it certainly was time for the time change. As for yours truly, I just wish they would leave it one way or the other. However, I’mnotmoving to Arizona. Puerto Rico, Guamor the Virgin Islands, where they just leave their timepieces alone.
