There’s a lot of happenings as we wind down from our summer fling. Tonight, at Lions Town and Country Park will be “Movie in the Park” at the amphitheater starting at dusk.
I don’t know who is going to let the dogs out, but it will be a woofin’ good time this Saturday at Lions Town and Country Park for the third annual Bark For Life to raise funds in the fight against cancer.
Albeit rather slowly. First off, thank you for all the emails, calls and correspondence to me and/or my gal about my down time after reading that replacement “best of” (?) column Wednesday.

Maybe it’s too hot for it, but it will eventually rain. A couple weeks ago I attempted to warn readers of the closure of Fourth Street slated, as the official road signs read, July 30.
Though not much of a soccer fan, I was mesmerized by the match between our U.S. ladies and Canadian counterparts Monday afternoon with the winner playing World Champion Japan for the gold medal Thursday.
