Club-conscious minds. Saturday saw another wonderful Old Timers Day and the fun and feisty festivities afterward in Courthouse Park.
Tomorrow, those parade preparers — and these are the hard-working ones who pull it off every year, the dedicated members of the Madera Kiwanis Club — will be out in force before the first fancier of floats,
Fittingly, just after my retirement from the Parks Department, it is Old Timers Week. Congratulations to this year’s King and Queen, Bill Wood and Lorraine Ocheltree.
