Paying homage. Even on a warm, and getting warmer by the minute, day it was nice to see so many Maderans turn out for the Memorial Day services at Arbor Vitae Cemetery and Courthouse Park.
Summer is almost upon us. That means barbecues, cruising, baseball and fun. There is one group that just keeps rolling along (literally) and that is the great folks of Madera Classic Cars.
King of the monsters. We went to see that giant lizard Godzilla. Don’t worry, I won’t give away the plot, or the ending, or any issue regarding “spoiler alerts.” However, I did see a glaring inaccuracy.
Fun all over. With this warm, bordering on hot, weather lately the parks have been full of picnickers and even some nitpickers.
