Are the Madera police so short staffed that they can not respond to a traffic accident? On a recent weekend a vehicle ran the stop sign at Schnoor and Jefferson-Riverview, and totaled two vehicles.
I read this and don’t quite understand it. The state says its new fee is for fire “prevention” activities. CalFire says it’s for habitable structures in a protected area.
