Perhaps a vote for a member of a school board is the most patriotic of all votes because our local governments are closest to the citizens. Therefore, that vote should be thoughtfully cast.

Mammoth Oxygen would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us at our grand opening last weekend.

On Oct. 17, it had been five years since a good friend of mine passed away. He was Frank P. Molina, and I have real good memories of him.

I am trying to locate a friend of mine that has lived in Madera for many years. His name is Glenn Music. He was an old U.S. Coast Guard mate in Sheffield, Ala., back in 1962.
