I am happy to see (The Madera Tribune, Nov. 15) that Madera County (sponsored by the sheriff’s department) will be having phone checks for seniors.
Here we go again, searching for a new school superintendent.
If you are going to search, do it here in the school district. We should have qualified people on staff to fill this position.
Alview-Dairyland Union School District is a K-8 district of approximately 360 students. We are located in the rural area of Chowchilla in Madera County.
This letter is in response to a Red Line caller’s message that was printed Nov. 20.
I attended the Madera Central Valley Tea Party meeting at our local VFW Monday. During the meeting, two guest speakers provided a wealth of information to those present.
Madera Unified School Superintendent Gustavo Balderas will leave Madera to take a position in Ocean View on Jan, 1, 2013.
