In all the experiences of life, there does not seem to be anything that makes a person feel more alive and complete than giving, be it giving of time, emotional support or possessions.
Letters to the editor
Letters to the editor from readers of The Madera Tribune newspaper.
I would like to set the record straight on David Linn’s statement (Madera Tribune, Saturday, March 23) that the Board of Supervisors, judges and law enforcement support him.
Recently, I read the Editor’s Corner on Sheriff John Anderson and his decision not to run for office. I wanted to take an opportunity to introduce myself.
Got a letter from Sen. Rand Paul showing Feinstein holding an AK-47 in a crowded room with her finger on the trigger. Clearly an idiot, and she should never be allowed to handle a firearm again.
I would like to expand on my agreement with the editor of The Madera Tribune in his remarks that “Sup’t search must be done right,” printed March 9.
We are writing to express concern over mental health and smoking. Although the rates of smoking have declined, smoking among those with mental illness has increased.
I am pleased to see that the test scores in the Madera Unified School district have improved, according to a recent Madera Tribune news article by Mr. Bill Coate.
