Native Maderan Darwin Shebelut, a business leader who built a car dealership, a housing development and two shopping centers, and helped build Madera Community Hospital, died Monday, Dec. 16.
I’m not sure Editor Doud was being fair in his editorial comparing RomneyCare to ObamaCare.
Here you are, folks. Forty to 50 years after the shortage of water was brought to our attention, it has arrived. Thousand-dollar monthly bills on the coast. Folsom Lake drying up. Area people in an uproar.
On Dec. 16, there was a picture and story in The Madera Tribune of a woman who stole a package, that had been delivered by UPS, from the front door of a home.
It first came out on June 20 in the Tribune. “Invasive” mosquito discovered in Madera. According to that article it was found June 6 near Schnoor and Sunset avenues.
