My name is Michele (Martin) Carter. My parents are Al (deceased) and Barbara (Bobbye) Montanari Martin who owned and operated the Valley Market at the end of Yosemite Avenue from 1963 to the early 70’s.
I am writing concerning the open field owned by the Wathen family, located on the southwest corner of Cleveland and Stephanie avenues across from Food 4 Less.
Someone needs to check the grades of our president. I bet he failed in college for economics.
Well, it has been about two weeks since we celebrated our 100th birthday, and the excitement from that day is starting to wind down. I must say that it was an awesome time. The gates opened at 3 p.m.
