To honor those who both need and deserve respect is important and rewarding. This was my goal for Sept. 12. My aunt is Doris Bassett Scott, a longtime resident and involved community member of Madera.
This is a response to the Red Line call in the Sept. 9 Madera Tribune in which a woman said that ISIS is worse than Hitler was, and that we needed another Greatest Generation to defeat them.
I would like to thank the current postmaster and the gardeners for the very attractive, drought-tolerant landscape at the Post Office.
During Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz’s re-election campaign, we have heard him talk about his conviction rate being 17 percent higher than “prior to his tenure” as well as touting the number
