Many Tribune readers have been reading Kelsey’s veterinary advice over the past 3 1/2 years. It is with great sadness that I write our last column, in special memory of my beloved friend.
Kelsey is a kelpie mix that lives at Madera Veteriniary Center, 2446 N. Schnoor Ave. Her "mom,” Dr. Kristin Polci-Moger, has owned the center since 2006 and has practiced veterinary medicine since 1992. Questions may be sent to maderavetstaff at Yahoo dot com.
DEAR KELSEY: I was reading on the Internet about dogs being hypothyroid and it sounds just like my dog, Maggie. Can you tell me about the disease and what I should ask my vet?
My husband and I were discussing what our family would do in case of an emergency. What are the things I should have ready for our pets?
