The weather has been unusual this week. While summer storms aren’t exactly unheard of in the San Joaquin Valley and the nearby foothills, they feel rare.

This week I attended the Broadway in Fresno production of “The Book of Mormon.” If you haven’t seen the show yet, there are two performances today and two more tomorrow.
