I went to Madera Cinema on Tuesday to see the film “Oz the Great and Powerful.” Like many girls, I grew up loving the classic movie and reading every Oz book in the Madera County Library.

This is the weekend to switch to Daylight Savings Time. I find the biannual time change annoying, my husband really hates it. “Just leave it alone!” he rants whenever the subject comes up.
